Aluminum-Safe Solvent

Alimex is a water-based chemical descaler formulated for the safe removal of scale from water-wetted aluminum surfaces.

Aided by wetting agents, corrosion inhibitors and degreasing agents, it effectively loosens and removes deposits from critical aluminum components such as heat exchangers, fin fans, and any other aluminum coated surface.

Color Change Says Clean

A yellow liquid, Alimex descaler changes color when the solution is 95+ percent spent. When the solution begins to turn bluish-purple, it should be changed or added to if the equipment is not clean.

Compatible Materials

Non-corrosive Alimex will not affect aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, admiralty metal, titanium, copper, iron, lead, PVC plastic, polyethylene, rubber or leather when used as directed.

Non-Compatible Materials

This formula is not recommended for zinc, galvanized steel or magnesium alloys. If uncertain, a material sample should be submitted for laboratory testing.

Alimex is non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-flammable when used as directed. Because it is biodegradable, standard disposal procedures may be followed.

Morcon-10

Mortar/Concrete Remover

Morcon-10 is a hydrochloric acid solution designed to penetrate and quickly remove encrusted scale, cement and barnacles.

Marine/Construction-Site Cleaner

Aided by corrosion inhibitors, detergents, wetting agents and degreasing compounds, it effectively loosens and removes deposits from building forms, concrete mixers, brick, propellers, submerged pipe and power plant exchangers.

Apply to Surface, Circulate or Soak

When used as directed, Morcon-10 may be safely brushed, mopped or sprayed on equipment and structural surfaces. It may be circulated through pumps and exchangers. Parts may be soaked.

Non-Compatible Materials

This formula is not recommended for use on aluminum, aluminum alloys, zinc, galvanized surfaces and magnesium alloys. If uncertain, a material sample should be submitted for laboratory testing.

Improperly used, Morcon-10 could result in the discoloration of vehicle paint finishes. To avoid discoloration of painted surfaces, Morcon-10 should be mixed with water at a 4:1 water to solvent ratio.

Sum-Kool®

Closed-Loop Cleaner

Safe for use on aluminum, Sum-Kool descaler is an effective and efficient heat transfer system cleaner designed to remove encrusted lime scale, rust and corrosion products from water-wetted surfaces.

Because it does not produce C02, Sum-Kool doesn’t need to be vented and can be used while equipment is in operation, making it ideal for closed-loop systems.

Solution for Heat-Transfer Problems

Water related scale reduces heat-transfer efficiency in systems and equipment in industries from nuclear power plants to automobile engines. In addition to reducing fluid flow, 1/16th of an inch of scale creates a heat-transfer barrier equivalent to three inches of steel. Sum-Kool is the solution!

Compatible Materials

Non-corrosive Sum-Kool® will not affect stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, admiralty metal, copper, iron, lead, aluminum, PVC plastic, polyethylene, rubber or leather when used as directed.

Non-Compatible Materials

There are none. Because Sum-Kool® is pH neutral (ranging from 6.0 to 8.5), it will not adversely affect metals or materials normally found in water-wetted equipment.
